The #1 Scalp Micropigmentation Clinic in South Florida

What is Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)?

SMP is also referred to as a hair tattoo. It's simply the art of creating the illusion of real hair follicles. Our artists are trained to use different types of needles (single micro and three-point) in order to achieve optimal results.

Aside from the hairline, our artists also pay very close attention to key factors such as blending, matching, feathering, density-building, texturing, and scar concealment in order to produce undetectable natural results. SMP is the most realistic, non-invasive, cost-efficient hair loss treatment out there. If done correctly it is seamless, undetectable and, in many cases, unbelievable!

What Our Clients Say

"My experience with International Hairlines, specifically Seif, has been phenomenal. I am extremely happy with the results, I feel like a different man in a very good way. If you are looking for SMP or aren't sure about the procedure, give them a call. You will like what you see whenever you look at a mirror. You can trust me on this!"

Arian V.

"At my initial consultation, Seif was patient with all my questions and even gave me a test of the micro-scalp needling in my head so I could see if I could be ok with it. Seif and the other artists care a lot about the customer's experience. I'm 100% happy with the outcome and it was well worth the discomfort of the needling procedure. I highly recommend International Hairlines."

Linda Z.

"I had a tough case with alopecia areata. Seif did a phenomenal job and went above and beyond to ensure we got the end result I was hoping for! He was communicative, responsive and very pleasant to work with! I was highly skeptical of SMP looking realistic, but I can say with 100% confidence to not worry. Now no one would even suspect that I had massive patches on my scalp!"

Frequently Asked Questions

Is SMP detectable?

Scalp micropigmentation has become such an effective hair loss solution because of its consistently natural and undetectable results. International Hairline prides itself on the ability to seamlessly replicate each individual hair follicle to create a perfect match for each client.

How many treatments should I expect?

Most clients can expect between 2-4 sessions to complete their treatment depending on the extent of hair loss or scarring. These treatments are usually spaced about 5-7 days apart.

How long do the results last?

After completion of your treatment (3-4 sessions) a client should expect the strength of the color to last for many years. Over a longer term, a client will very gradually begin to notice slight lightening (not discolor) of the treatment. When this occurs they can undergo a brief "touch up" session to restore any fading and secure many more years of their style.

Does the procedure hurt?

For most of our clients, the pain minimal and it's consistently less painful than traditional tattoos. After your session, you won't experience any further discomfort.

What equipment is used for the SMP procedure?

The equipment used for a scalp treatment is considered micropigmentation or "permanent cosmetic" equipment. There are many different brands and designs and equipment includes a digital power source, a hand-piece, and disposable micro needles for the insertion of pigment. Most SMP technicians use different equipment than standard tattoo artists to ensure the deposits are delicately placed at the appropriate depth in the skin.

Is there any down time to the treatment?

SMP is non-invasive and requires no down time. In most cases, you will not need to take any extended time away from work, school, or other functions. After treatment it is common to notice slight redness on the scalp for 2-3 days post session. This redness subsides quickly and most clients return to work either right away or within a couple days. Clients are also allowed to wear hats or headwear should they feel the need.

What is the aftercare procedure?

Your SMP journey doesn't end with the treatment. To maintain the results, you have to take proper aftercare measures. Aftercare will affect the outcome of your SMP treatment. Taking proper care of your scalp after the treatment will slow down the fading process.

We also offer SMP training to new SMP artists!
